This can be a cute wig, but unlike some I own, it needs a lot of fixing or styling when I put it on. It's rather a mess when first put on. After brushing and rearranging, it's not bad, a different look than I regularly wear. Doesn't really resemble the picture at all, and I bought 2 different colors! The lighter one is easier to fix and not as messy looking.

I loved the light auburn color of this wig, but never have I been able to make it look like the blonde color in the picture. The auburn color they show when I write the review looks like mine, but they advertise the blonde. Synthetic wigs are supposed to be something you don't have to spend a lot of time on, especially a style like this.

About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about Paula Young Anne Wig by Jaclyn Smith:
As usual, I am very happy with this Jaclyn Smith wig. It is soft and very natural looking. I always get compliments when I wear her wigs. Just needed to trim the bangs a bit and it was ready to wear.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love, Love, Love The Anne Wig
By Joane the Walker

I have been wearing Jacqueline Smith wigs exclusively for the past three years and this is my favorite. It is so natural looking, easy to style and always looks great. I have owned mine for three years and it looks as good as when I bought it.

Great Style, Not "Wiggy"
Have had many wigs through the years, Jaclyn Smith wigs are one of the best, i.e., contemporary styles, great dimension of colors in each color choice, lightweight and comfortable. They never look like a wig, only your natural hair with a great cut/style. They last and look better longer than others that have cost much more. This one might require a little more styling and usually having your stylist cut in a few layers/bangs to suit you personally is all that is needed. Only downside is dealing with the customer service at Paula Young, not the best I have encountered.

love this wig!

Don't get to close to a hot oven or BBQ grill. I singed the bangs on my first wig in this style and have just ordered a second one. People are always shocked to hear it is a wig though. Very natural looking. I did have to have my hairdresser trim it to make it work on me but after that...great!

Nice wig, but not for beginners.

This is not an out of the box style; the other reviewer who said you need to style this wasn't kidding. But, I got it to look more like the Jacklyn Smith photo than her photos indicated (she may have preferred a diffent look). I took a chance keeping it because I could not get it to look like the photo "out of the box." But, I decided to give it a try with styling and I am glad I did. Washed it first. Then used hot air brush (with very low heat; wrap your hand around the curl as you do it; when it gets too hot for your hand to be comfortable, turn off heat, wait to cool, and then release curl) to get the look of the photo. Made nice smooth soft waves, just as in the photo.

I bought this,my 1st wig, because I am starting chemo next week. I took a guess at the color and loved how it looked on Jaclyn Smith. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do. I am especially amazed that the color match is near perfect! Can't beat the price either!
Good buy for the price

Due to Alopecia, having to start wearing wigs on daily basis. I love the style and color. I wish it was a mono top, but much cheaper because not. Bought the Carmelized brown. It is beautiful color. Wig is good value for the price. I don't feel at all self concious and have received several comments on my hair. Not sure yet about how long it will hold up, but will update review once I know.

I Gave It A Chance and I'm Glad I Did
About Me Minimalist
I ordered my Anne wig in Wildflower Honey and fell in love with the color the minute I saw it. Almost identical to my own hair color, enough so that my own bangs blend in perfectly. I am playing with wearing wigs because it occurred to me one day how much of my life I've spent styling my hair, lol! This wig is definitely not as shown in the picture, but I decided to give it a chance. I've yet to do any trimming on it, will give it a few days to calm down before I make a decision on that. When I received it the back was almost straight except at the bottom which stuck straight out and the sides flipped up and fell forward. It was risky, but I cut the tags and decided I would work with it. I've found that it does respond to rollers overnight. Just take them out, don't comb, they spiral down and it looks much better. My lifestyle is very active and casual, and it's true that the wind comes sweeping down the plains here in Oklahoma, so this morning I "styled" it the same way I do my hair, inserted an index finger at each temple, ran it to the back, and stuck in a bear claw clip. I love it! Plenty of hair still left on the sides, very natural and carefree looking, and no hair in my eyes to boot! I consider this wig a winner. I can't depend on my own hair to look the same every day, and maybe we shouldn't expect each wig to be identical. I know some are just impossible, because I have my second Shannon wig boxed up and ready to go back, but all in all, I'm quite happy with my new hair. I am not going to check that I would recommend to a friend, because we're all different, and there's a good chance they would expect it to be as pictured.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
