This is my first wig. I decided to take the plunge as my own hair has been thinning terribly this past year (stress, I believe). I wanted something similar to my current length and this one looked adorable in the picture. As far as the style, it really is cute. It took me a while to figure out how to style it. I discovered that just putting it on and letting it relax a while really helped it to take shape. I ended up cutting a little more bang into it to frame my face, but the overall layering makes it a style that's not too overwhelming, and suitable for all ages. The first time I wore it out in public, was to a ladies luncheon. As my own hair is about the same length, the only comment I got was that they loved my new haircut, very flattering -- no one asked if it was a wig, so I felt like I got away with it. I've had several hairpieces and find the #60 best matches the front of my hair. But, #60 in a full wig was too, too silvery and looked really fake. So, I ordered this Chelsea in the 4460A to add a little depth to the color. This is just what it needed. It's a more natural look than the solid white. I pull my own hair out on the sides and blend it with the layers of the Chelsea for a more natural, lighter color framing my face. Overall, I'm pleased, and optimistic that this will be a good alternative to my natural hair.

Although this style was very stylish, it had way too much hair and was far too shiny for me. In fact, it had so much hair that you could not even see the lace front at all. Sadly, I had to send this wig back... Did not think it was believable at all.

This wig was perfect right out of the box. It looks so natural, everyone thought I'd cut my hair.I love the way it holds it's style well, even after washing.

This is a wonderful wig!

I have to say that Chelsea has surprised and delighted me. I own quite a few wigs from top names, and this is definitely one of my favorites. The lace front gives the appearance of real hair growth and is not scratchy. The mono top is the lightest I have worn. The hair is much thicker and nicer than it appears in the add. I have her in Hampton's Brown which is a beautiful blend of medium brown with blonde highlights and is not chunky. I can style her forward or back and will be purchasing another at this incredible sale price!

About Me Minimalist
This is the wig I've been searching 10 years for! I lost my hair to 18 months of dose-dense chemo in my 30's, and it never came back completely. My hair had always been thin and most wigs had too much hair for me and looked fake. I pick up a wig or two every year, but never end up wearing any of them. (The American Cancer Society has benefitted from my purchases through the years.) For years I've been using styling products and sprinkle-in hair fibers to hide my balder spots. I am going to wear this wig out this weekend to dinner. Then I need to take the leap and wear it to work. The change will be obvious to people who know me but I do not think anyone else will know, it is very natural looking (I got Hamptons Brown F14/8.) I am thrilled with this wig and ordered a second one today as back up. Wish me luck, it's going to take some bravery to start wearing it but I am excited!
Husband loves it
from New England
I purchased this wig in the color shown as a fun alternative to my natural blonde hair. I always wanted to go auburn/ginger but did not want upkeep. This wig is very natural looking and the highlights make it look very believable. I was hoping for a little more blonde in it like the model showing it but found mine is more like the actual color swatch under the color chart. My husband likes it because he has a thing for "Scully" on the old TV series "X Files" and it is even close to her color and style. Lol -- so it is a fun change. The quality and comfort is nice. The lace front was a little scratchy, but I cut mine in closer to the hairline, which is what you are supposed to do anyhow. I plan to pluck a few strays off the lace front around the part. Other than that I trimmed the bangs a bit to frame my face and it is working for me!

Husband loves the way I look!
from Ann Arbor, MI
I am going through chemo and have lost all my hair. I have tried many wigs, and many at higher prices, and this is the first wig that I received that I REALLY only had to give it a quick shake and it was ready for wear AND it looked great. The velcro tabs make adjusting easy (I have a small head -- especially without hair). The lace front is great and gives it a tight fit and a natural look. I have a few strays on occasion that don't behave, and I just clip them. It has more of a "coarse" hair texture and is not super shiny. After getting my first Chelsea wig, I liked it so much, I ordered it in another color. The second wig was a little bumpy when it arrived, and I just had to give it a good soak and it was just as good as the first one. It sheds a little, but is full enough that after a month of wear, I haven't noticed any problems. Although I have about a dozen wigs, I only wear the Chelsea's now, and get many compliments -- and NOT only from my husband (but he loves the way I look with this wig). I am getting ready to go back to work soon, and am feeling comfortable wearing my wig in front of my coworkers, and am ordering a couple more Chelsea's to make sure that I always have one clean and ready to wear.

Natural and Fun
The lace front is so nice and natural. It offers much versatility. I wear the front in a soft side part brushed up and off the face. The long bangs sweep up, back and to the sides feathering beautifully. I pull some of my own hair from the sides, spot color it to match the color of the wig, and blend it into the sides. It looks so natural! The sides are versatile in that they can be brushed up off the ears or brushed down to lie closer to the side of your face. I lift mine away from the ears and allow it to gently flow out into a soft wave. The back of Chelsea has a pert up-flip that is fun.In fact, Chelsea has a light airy feel that lifts my spirits. It's definitely a keeper.
