This was just too curly for my taste. I thought it could be styled a bit "looser" but (not). I also thought I might be able to pull my own hair over the piece and then place the headband so the color would blend. This wasn't possible because of the velcro. Can't say I wouldn't recommend this for someone that prefers the curly look. It just was not a good look for me. Returned the product. I think P.Y. should have more alternate views of all hairpieces and maybe a bit more info on descriptions.

Beautiful and natural
Comments about Wispy Waves Changeable Headbands by Paula Young®:
I was diagnosed with Alopecia and have now lost 60% of my hair. I was feeling terrible about the way I looked, trying to fill in all the holes. Decided to try this and see if it would help. I just wish I would have ordered it sooner! I've had so many compliments on it, great color match and looks natural. I feel so much better! Hopefully my hair grows back but if not I have options!

Fun & quirky
About Me Beauty Conscious
I have looking at this often & was disappointed to discover it does not fit well over hair that is short in the back. I'm really bummed because I expected to have a different look every day with the headbands you can switch out. I have returned it & am awaiting a replacement, hoping for the best.

Don't judge a book by it's cover!

About Me Minimalist
I immediately throw away the headbands!! In my situation, my hair is extremely fine and thinning in the front. This piece has two combs attached, one in the front and one in the bottom back. I gather some of my hair in the front into a pincurl and twist the back with a clip. I attach the front comb to the pincurl and wear a wide cloth headband that covers the velcro on hairpiece and comes down a bit on my forehead for a great look and overall coverage. I LOVE THIS PIECE AND HAVE SEVERAL!!!!

This is my main go to style. No one knows that its not mine. Its just like my own hair, the difference is that this piece is always dependable. I wear it for casual and dressy. It's perfect!

Adorable & lots of compliments
from Tampa, Florida
I am an RN in a busy Nicu and wore this to work and received numerous positive results from my co-workers. The color was a perfect match to my hair so I simply left my bangs out and everyone was surprised it was a wig/hairpiece. The band and the 2 combs keep it snug on your head even with all the bending and head turning that I do in a 12 hour shift. Actually, almost too snug as I had to glue a small piece of sponge on the ends of hairband to make it more comfortable. The service was excellent as usual.
You can fix the headbands.
from Houston, Tx
The headbands are nearly perfect circles, which means they are too tight for most heads. You can fix this with your flatiron. Turn it to its highest heat and run it over the plastic until the plastic softens. It can then be reshaped to suit you. Remember the plastic will be hot so you have to wait for it to cool slightly, but you can do this over and over until you get what you like. Or you can throw the plastic headbands out and buy/make cloth ones. Remember to use the kind that have elastic on the back. They work best. The wiglet is wonderful, comfortable and looks great on. The hair match is nearly perfect.
Great Wiglet--Terrible Headband
The wiglet itself is very nice although much curlier than the photo. The headband is badly shaped. It's much too round for a human head and digs in over the ears. However, there's a fix for the problem. Take your flatiron, set it to the highest temperature and run it over the headband until the plastic softens. Then reshape it until it fits. I also use cloth headbands. I recommend they be at least 2" wide and are sewn onto narrow pieces of elastic.
Like it but...
I used to wear wigs and hairpieces in the 60s and 70s but I started dying my hair a lighter color and could never find hairpieces to match. Now that I'm going darker I wanted to have them again. This demiwig is very comfortable to wear. I advise you to toss the headbands which were apparently sized and shaped to fit a softball. Buy yourself some pretty scarves and stretch bands. The wiglet becomes a lot more flexible and comfortable. I love that there are two colors that vanish into my own. The wave can be brushed or allowed to become a riot of curls. My waist-length hair disappears under and suddenly I have short, bouncy looks that are cute and easy to do. Please, Paula, make more demiwigs.
